Mount and attach the camera to power it up.
Attach an iOS or Android device to the CP IoT wifi using the password from 1Password.
Attach a laptop to the CP IoT wifi using the password from 1Password.
Install and open the Hik-Connect app on iOS or Android.
Add the device on the Hik-Connect main screen, scanning the serial number of the camera captured in step 1.
Set the camera's passwords to the password in 1Password and set DHCP to on.
On the laptop, log into our UniFi Network Controller using the credentials from 1Password.
On the Devices tab of the network web app, sort the list by Uptime to find the most recently attached "Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology" vendor device added and note its IP address.
On the laptop as well, go to http://{IP Address of Camera}
Log in with the username "admin" and the password from 1Password.
Download the G1 firmware and push module files from 3dEye, extracting any ZIP files downloaded.
On the camera's portal page, go to Configuration > System > Maintenance > Upgrade and select the .dav firmware file downloaded to upgrade the firmware of the camera.
After a few minutes, log back into the camera's portal page.
On the camera's portal page, go to Configuration > System > System Settings > Basic Informaton, and enter the camera's name using our device naming guidelines. For example, "B1 - Mail Room - Camera" for a camera in zone B, level 1, in the mail room. Enter as many characters as you can, even if it cuts off. Save the page.
Now, go to Configuration > System > System Settings > Time Settings, select Time Zone "(GMT-05:00) Eastern Time(US&Canada)". Then click the NTP radio, and enter "pool.ntp.org" for the Server Address. Save the entire page and test.
Now, go to Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > Integration Protocol, check Enable ONVIF, and add a new user in the table with username "admin", password (from 1Password), and type "Administrator". Save.
Finally, go to Configuration > Open Platform > Import Application, and browse to the 3dEye downloaded .app file and import it.
Start the push module, wait a few seconds, and open the log. Copy the "Cloud register code" at the top of the log.
On the laptop, open the 3dEye Admin Portal and log in using the board's credentials from 1Password.
Go to the Cameras tab and click Add. Select the "Castleberry Point" customer and select "P&P Camera" for the camera type. Submit.
On the next page, select "New P&P Camera" and paste the registration code copied from the camera's log above.
Enter the camera's name using our device naming guidelines (the same one used earlier in the camera's portal). For example, "B1 - Mail Room - Camera" for a camera in zone B, level 1, in the mail room.
Enter the same credentials for the camera set up and used earlier from 1Password.
Select "Pro 30 days" for the plan. Click the Create button.
Finally in the same 3dEye admin portal, go to Customers > Castleberry Point > Roles and click "Admin". Find the new camera in the list and check it and ensure "View", "PTZ", and "Save Clip" are all active. Save.
The camera is now available to all Castleberry Point accounts in 1Password through the 3dEye video portal.
