Water and Sewer

Water and sewer service at Castleberry Point are provided by the City of Atlanta, billing statements are generated by Utility Billing Solutions, and paid through AppFolio.

Atlanta Watershed System Status

Here is Atlanta Watershed's system status tool for the city of Atlanta.

Billing

The association pays the city water bill in lump sums, but each unit is responsible for its individual water usage. All water and sewer charges are applied to your AppFolio Portal account monthly on the first alongside your HOA dues and any other fees. Your meter ID and generic usage information can be found in the description of each monthly charge in the portal by navigating to your Full Account Ledger in AppFolio. If you have a live/work unit, your water bill will only be applied to the residential portion of your unit. For help setting up your auto-payments in AppFolio, see our general Billing page.

Castleberry Point uses Utility Billing Solutions (UT Billing) to track the billable amount of water and sewer charges for your unit. You can view your account and billing statement details from their website. If you don't have a UT Billing account, please reach out to them to get one set up.

Usage Calculation & Rates

The sewage rate is about three (3) times the rate of water. The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management sets the rate. We are required to use the exact same rates as the City of Atlanta charges for the water and sewer base charges and usage.

Water meters for each unit are located on the ceiling in the hallway near your front door.

Dispute Your Bill with the City of Atlanta

While UT Billing manages our meter hardware and submetering process, adjustments to the water bill itself must go through the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed. If any of the following has happened, please use the below button to fill out a request with them:

Out master bulk submetered water account number is 201388305. Please include this in your request.

SeWAGE SMELLS, METER ISSUES, OR LEAKS
