Committee Charter

Purpose/Definition/Mission

  • Work with the board and committees

    • Facilitate clear communication to the community.

  • Work with the community

    • Create opportunities to build a sense of community.

    • Promote community engagement.

Composition/Members/Terms

  • Members of the Social and Community Committee have a tenure of two years.

  • Committee lead.

  • Three committee members.

  • Have an interest in community engagement and are willing to invest time in the activities laid out in this charter.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor community social media and communications platforms.

Meetings

Meetings are held bi-weekly.

Reporting

Activities are reported to the Board on a monthly basis following the protocols established by the Board for tracking committee activities.
