Residential Alcoves
These are the policies every residential homeowner must follow regarding their door alcoves. Deviations from these policies will result in successive fines on a unit.
Nothing is permitted outside your unit's front door other than a seasonal wreath and a doormat
No Owner, Occupant, or any other Person may make any encroachment onto any Limited Common Elements, or on any other Common Elements
A mezuzah or comparable religious symbol not larger than three inches (3*) in width and nine inches (9") in height may be posted on the doorframe of the Unit
If changing the front door, door fire rating, color, and material must match the other doors exactly
Digital door lock upgrades are fine as long as the installation is done professionally, hiding any damage or holes in the door
Digital doorbells can be installed as long as it is done professionally, hiding any damage or holes in the drywall
The maximum size of a doorbell or lock is 5" x 8" and no exterior cameras are allowed unless integrated into a doorbell or lock
The unit number placard on a door cannot be removed unless it is immediately transferred to a new door in the same position
Front door mat must not extend outside of alcove (max 22" deep) and not have religious, political, or profanity displayed on them, and have a non-slip backing
Door thresholds must be installed on the flooring under each and every door so that there is no gap between the threshold and the door when it is closed
